Privacy policy
PDF300 is operated by LeDeuxions (Korea). This policy explains what happens to the files you process and what little data the site records.
1. Files you process
Browser tools. Merge, Split, Rotate & reorder, Crop, N-up, Page numbers, Watermark, Signature & stamp, Redact, PDF to Image, Image to PDF, PDF to Text, Compress (image mode) and Metadata editing run entirely in your web browser. Your file is read and processed on your device and is never sent to us or to anyone else.
Server tools. High-quality compress, Compress to target size, OCR and searchable PDF, Set password, Remove password, Remove metadata, Repair PDF, Office to PDF, and the server versions of page numbers, N-up and watermark send your file over an encrypted HTTPS connection, through Cloudflare's network, to a server operated by LeDeuxions. The file is processed in memory or in a temporary folder, which is deleted as soon as the result has been sent back to you. We do not keep copies of your files or of their output, do not look at their contents, and do not use them for any other purpose. Maximum size is 100 MB per file (30 MB for OCR).
Passwords you type into the password tools are used only to process that file and are not stored.
2. Usage counting
We count page views with our own simple counter. It records the site and the page address visited. It does not use cookies and does not store your IP address.
Server tools are free for a limited number of uses per day. To enforce that, our gateway keeps a daily usage count keyed to your IP address or to an anonymous random key stored in your browser. These counts expire after about a day. If you buy a day pass, a pass key is stored in your browser so the tools recognise it; the server records when the key was first used.
3. Payments
Day passes are sold through Payhip, with payment handled by PayPal or the card processor you choose. We do not receive or store your card details. Payhip's and PayPal's own privacy policies apply to the purchase.
4. Advertising and cookies
Some pages on this site display ads served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-2824624880449066). Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Ads never receive the contents of files you process.
5. Local storage in your browser
Some tools save small settings in your browser's local storage (for example, an anonymous key for the target-size tool, or a day-pass key). This stays on your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
6. Third-party code
The browser tools load open-source libraries (pdf.js, pdf-lib, JSZip) and fonts from public CDNs such as jsDelivr and Google Fonts. Those providers see a normal request for the file, like any website visit, but not your documents.
7. Children
PDF300 is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices and contact
Because we do not keep your files and do not run user accounts, there is usually nothing personal to access or delete. If you have a question or request about your data, write to vis555540@gmail.com. If this policy changes, the effective date above will change with it.
